Typically, prediction market odds reflect a different set of information and incentives than those found at traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks often incorporate a 'vig' or commission into their odds, while prediction markets aim to represent the true probability of an outcome as assessed by traders. Therefore, you may observe differences between the implied probability on Polymarket and the odds offered by sportsbooks. These differences can arise from varying levels of expertise, access to information, and risk appetite among market participants compared to sportsbook oddsmakers.
