Predict
This prediction market asks for the exact final score of a Club Friendlies soccer match between RW Oberhausen and Schalke 04. Users can bet on specific scorelines, or on 'Any Other Score' if the final result doesn't match the listed options.
In the upcoming Club Friendlies game between RW Oberhausen and Schalke 04, scheduled for September 24, 2026 at 1:00 PM ET: This market will resolve based on the final score of the RW Oberhausen vs. Schalke 04 match originally scheduled for September 24, 2026 at 1:00 PM ET, considering the final score regardless of format (e.g. two halves totaling 90 minutes plus stoppage time, or four periods totaling 120 minutes). If the actual score is not one of the explicitly listed outcomes, the market resolves to "Any Other Score." If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Prediction market odds, like those found for this market, often reflect the wisdom of the crowd, potentially offering a different perspective than traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks set odds based on their own models and aim to profit, while prediction markets allow traders to set prices based on their beliefs. This can lead to discrepancies, as prediction markets may incorporate information not fully captured by sportsbook algorithms. However, both types of odds aim to accurately represent the probability of an event occurring. It’s common to see convergence between the two as the event approaches, but differences can present opportunities for informed traders.
Prices for this market on Polymarket and Predict may diverge due to several factors. Polymarket and Predict can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. Each platform attracts a different user base with varying risk appetites and information sets, leading to differing opinions on the likely outcome. Trading volume also plays a role; a higher volume on one platform can indicate stronger conviction in a particular outcome. Furthermore, the specific mechanisms for price discovery—how traders can buy and sell predictions—differ between Polymarket and Predict, contributing to price discrepancies. These differences are normal and reflect the dynamic nature of prediction markets.
