Prediction market odds in this market often differ from traditional sportsbook lines due to unique trader perspectives and available information. While sportsbooks may set prices based on broader public betting trends and expert analysis, prediction markets let participants incorporate nuanced factors or insider views. This can lead to divergence, especially if new developments emerge that aren’t fully priced into sportsbook lines yet.
On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. On Polymarket, traders actively set prices through their bets, which determine the current implied probability for each outcome.
