Frequently asked questions

Prediction market odds and traditional sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different participant bases and incentive structures. Sportsbooks set odds to balance liability and extract margin, while prediction markets like this one are driven by trader consensus and real money at stake. Esports prediction markets tend to be more responsive to live performance data and community expertise, whereas sportsbooks may lag in updating specialized metrics like headshot percentage. Comparing the two can reveal whether professional oddsmakers or the broader prediction market community has a more accurate read on player performance.

On Limitless, this market is priced through continuous order-book matching, where traders buy and sell shares representing YES (75%+ headshot percentage) and NO outcomes. On Limitless, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of each outcome fluctuates based on supply and demand, with the current odds visible in real time. Traders profit by correctly predicting whether the threshold will be met, and the market's price at any moment reflects the aggregate belief of all active participants about the likelihood of that outcome.

This market resolves around Jul 26, 2026, once the BLAST Bounty S2 online stage concludes and final statistics are available. The outcome is determined by whether ropz's headshot percentage across all matches in that stage meets or exceeds 75%, verified against credible public sources and official tournament records. Resolution typically occurs within hours of the event's completion, after the data has been confirmed and processed.

Several factors can shift odds in this market. Strong individual match performances with high headshot percentages will push YES odds higher, while inconsistent or lower-accuracy rounds will favor NO. Tournament momentum, opponent difficulty, and map selection all influence shooting accuracy. Injury reports or roster changes affecting the player's availability could also trigger significant repricing. As the online stage progresses, each completed match provides concrete data that narrows uncertainty, causing the market to converge toward the final outcome.
