This market will resolve to "YES" if Cristiano Ronaldo performs his signature "Siu" celebration 4 or more times across all Portugal matches at the 2026 FIFA World Cup main tournament. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "NO." The "Siu" is defined as Ronaldo's signature mid-air jump with arms thrust down and a shouted "Siuuu!" Each distinct, observable occurrence while Ronaldo is on the field or in the bench area during any official Portugal match counts as one, regardless of the trigger. Penalty shootout celebrations are included. Celebrations in the locker room or other areas outside the field or bench will not count. The celebration must be clearly visible in authentic broadcast or photographic footage to count. Archival material, previously recorded footage, digitally altered content, AI-generated media, or staged reproductions will not qualify. If the 2026 FIFA World Cup competition is cancelled or postponed after July 31, 2026, 23:59 UTC, this market will resolve to "NO." The primary resolution source will be credible video or photographic evidence; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.

Prediction market odds and sportsbook odds serve different purposes. Sportsbooks focus on wagering with built-in margins and limits, while prediction markets like this one reflect pure trader sentiment and information aggregation without traditional bookmaker spreads. Sportsbooks may not offer granular props like celebration counts, whereas this market isolates that specific outcome. Prediction markets often update faster and more frequently than sportsbooks because traders continuously adjust positions. Both venues can diverge based on their user bases, but prediction markets tend to reward accurate forecasting more directly through share appreciation rather than fixed payouts.
On Limitless, traders set prices through continuous order matching, where buy and sell orders determine the current odds for this outcome. On Limitless, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price reflects the collective probability estimate: higher prices mean traders believe Ronaldo is more likely to hit four or more celebrations, while lower prices suggest skepticism. Shares can be held until resolution or traded before Jul 20, 2026, allowing positions to be adjusted as new information emerges. The market's price discovery mechanism incentivizes informed traders to identify mispricing and profit accordingly.
This market resolves around Jul 20, 2026, after the 2026 World Cup concludes. The outcome is determined by counting verified instances of Ronaldo performing his 'Siu' celebration throughout the tournament. Once the event is complete, the result will be confirmed against credible public sources including match footage, official records, and sports media reporting. If Ronaldo executes four or more celebrations, the 'Yes' outcome wins; otherwise, 'No' prevails. Traders holding shares in the winning outcome receive their payout upon resolution.
Several factors could shift this market significantly. Ronaldo's fitness, form, and playing time at his club leading into 2026 will influence expectations. His age and role within Portugal's squad—whether he starts regularly or comes off the bench—directly affects celebration opportunities. Major injuries or unexpected retirements would dramatically lower odds. Tournament-specific dynamics, such as Portugal's group placement and knockout progression, matter too; deeper runs mean more matches and more chances for celebrations. Real-time performance during the World Cup itself will drive the sharpest moves, as traders react to Ronaldo's actual celebration frequency in early matches.
