This market tracks the total number of games played in the professional tennis match between Roman Safiullin and Kimmer Coppejans at the 2026 Wimbledon Men's Singles Qualification Final. Resolution depends on counting all completed games across the full match.
Resolution is based on the total completed games in the full match. If the match does not occur before play begins due to injury, walkover, forfeiture, or cancellation, the market resolves to a fair price. If postponed or delayed, the market remains open and closes after the rescheduled match concludes within two weeks. If a retirement occurs, markets that can be unconditionally settled based on completed play resolve accordingly; those that cannot be unconditionally settled resolve to Fair Market Price at the Exchange's sole discretion.
Prediction market odds and sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different trader bases and incentive structures. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and lock in profit margins, while prediction markets aggregate beliefs from many independent participants with real money at stake. For this market, comparing the implied probability here to what traditional sportsbooks quote on total games can reveal whether one venue perceives the matchup differently—perhaps due to injury reports, recent form, or head-to-head history that one group weights more heavily than the other.
On Kalshi, this market is priced through a continuous order-book mechanism where traders submit bids and asks for shares representing different outcomes on total games. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of each outcome reflects the ratio of buy to sell pressure at any moment, meaning rapid shifts in trader conviction can move odds sharply. Kalshi's transparent fee structure and regulatory framework mean prices tend to converge toward fair value as more participants enter and arbitrage opportunities disappear.
This market resolves around Jun 24, 2026, once the Safiullin vs Coppejans match concludes and the final game count is confirmed. The outcome will be verified against credible public sources covering professional tennis, ensuring accuracy and fairness. Until that point, traders can continue to buy and sell shares as new information—such as player fitness updates or court conditions—emerges and influences expectations about match length.
Several factors could shift odds in this market before the match begins. Injury announcements or withdrawal news involving either player would immediately reprice expectations. Recent tournament results, head-to-head records, and surface preference data (clay, grass, or hard court) all influence how traders estimate game totals. Weather forecasts, court speed reports, and late-breaking form changes can also trigger volatility. Additionally, if either player's ranking or seeding shifts due to other results, market participants may adjust their view of competitive balance and expected match duration.
