Roman Andres Burruchaga and Arthur Fery compete in the second set of their 2026 ATP Eastbourne Round of 32 professional tennis match on June 22. The market determines which player wins this individual set.
Resolution depends on which player wins set 2 in the specified match. If the match does not occur before play begins due to injury, walkover, forfeiture, or cancellation, the market resolves to a fair price. If postponed or delayed, the market remains open until the rescheduled match concludes within two weeks. If a player retires, markets that can be unconditionally settled based on completed play resolve accordingly; those that cannot are settled at Fair Market Price at the Exchange's discretion.
Prediction market odds and sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different pricing mechanisms. Sportsbooks set odds to balance their book and lock in profit margins, while prediction markets like this one are priced by traders directly competing on outcomes. Prediction markets typically incorporate real-time information and trader conviction more fluidly, sometimes offering sharper or earlier signals than traditional sportsbooks. Comparing this market's odds to major sportsbooks can reveal where consensus differs and highlight potential value or contrarian positioning.
On Kalshi, this market is priced through a continuous order-book mechanism where traders buy and sell contracts representing each outcome. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of each contract reflects the collective probability traders assign to that outcome, with prices ranging from near zero to near one dollar. Higher prices indicate stronger trader conviction in that result. You can place limit or market orders to enter or exit positions, and the market price updates in real time as new trades execute.
This market resolves around Jun 22, 2026, once the second set of the Burruchaga versus Fery match concludes and the result is verifiable from credible public reporting. The outcome is determined by which player wins the set according to official match records. Until that point, the market remains open for trading, allowing you to adjust positions as the event approaches and new information becomes available.
Several factors may shift trader positioning in this market. Injury reports or player fitness updates before the match could alter perceived probabilities significantly. Recent head-to-head records, surface conditions, and tournament context may influence expectations. Live match developments—such as the outcome of Set 1—typically drive sharp repricing as traders update their forecasts based on observed performance. News about player form, ranking changes, or coaching adjustments can also trigger movement. Real-time trading activity itself reflects evolving confidence, so watch for volume spikes and price momentum as catalysts.
