Prediction market odds on Polymarket often diverge from traditional sportsbook odds because they reflect real-time trader sentiment rather than fixed bookmaker lines. Sportsbooks typically adjust odds more slowly and build in margin, whereas prediction markets update continuously as new information emerges. For this Roland Garros doubles match, comparing Polymarket implied probabilities to major sportsbook offerings can reveal whether the market is pricing in recent player form, injury reports, or head-to-head records differently. Traders often use these gaps to identify value, though both venues ultimately converge toward match outcome as the event approaches.
