Opinion
In the upcoming KPL best-of-series match scheduled for 2026-07-21 12:30 UTC: if SYGaming wins the series, the market will resolve to "SYGaming"; if Rogue Warriors wins the series, the market will resolve to "Rogue Warriors". The series winner is the first team to win a majority of games. Individual games remade due to technical issues do not count as wins toward the series. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. In cases where a team's listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50. Any subsequent revisions will not affect this resolution.

Prediction market odds and sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different trader bases and incentive structures. Sportsbooks set odds to balance their book and lock in profit margins, while prediction markets aggregate beliefs from many independent traders with real money at stake. This market's odds may lead or lag traditional sportsbook lines depending on information flow and trader sophistication. Comparing the two can reveal where consensus is strongest or where sharp traders see value.
On Opinion, this market is priced through a continuous order-book mechanism where traders submit bids and asks for shares representing each outcome. On Opinion, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of each share reflects the collective probability estimate—a higher price means traders view that outcome as more likely. As new information emerges or traders adjust their views, prices adjust in real time, ensuring the market stays responsive to changing conditions.
This market resolves around Jul 21, 2026, once the match concludes and the result is verifiable from credible public reporting. The outcome will be confirmed based on the official match result, ensuring all traders have access to the same authoritative information. Until that point, prices may fluctuate as new developments, team news, or betting patterns influence trader expectations.
Key catalysts include roster changes, recent team performance, injury announcements, and pre-match analysis from esports commentators and analysts. Betting activity on external sportsbooks can also signal sharp money moving into this market. Tournament seeding, map selections, and head-to-head records may shift trader conviction as the match date approaches. Any credible news about team form or player availability could trigger rapid repricing.
