In the upcoming Ligue 2 game between Rodez Aveyron Football and Pau FC, scheduled for August 28, 2026 at 2:00 PM ET: This market will resolve based on the final score of the Rodez Aveyron Football vs. Pau FC match originally scheduled for August 28, 2026 at 2:00 PM ET, considering only the result at the end of 90 minutes of regulation plus stoppage time; extra time and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. If the actual score is not one of the explicitly listed outcomes, the market resolves to "Any Other Score." If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome.
All markets resolve based on whether the total points scored by both teams in the Gardner-Webb vs Austin Peay college football game scheduled for August 27, 2026, exceeds the specified threshold for each market. If the game is postponed but commences within 48 hours of its original start time, all markets remain open and resolve according to the final official result. Should the game fail to start within this 48-hour window, all markets resolve to a fair price, ensuring equitable treatment for all participants regardless of the specific point threshold market. The resolution for each market is contingent on the collective score meeting or exceeding its designated over/under line.
Prediction market odds on this market often differ from traditional sportsbook lines because they reflect a different pool of participants and a decentralized mechanism. While sportsbooks may set their lines based on broader public betting trends and sharp money, prediction markets let traders bet directly on outcomes, which can lead to sharper or more volatile pricing. For example, a narrow favorite might appear less dominant on Polymarket than on a sportsbook, depending on recent data. Comparing both gives you a broader perspective on market sentiment and potential value.
On Polymarket and Kalshi, traders set prices independently, so each venue can develop its own consensus based on local activity and liquidity. Polymarket and Kalshi can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. This divergence often stems from differences in user base, available information, and the way each platform structures its betting interface. For instance, if one platform has deeper volume around a specific scoreline, its implied probability may shift faster. These variations create opportunities to compare views across markets and identify where consensus is strongest or most divided.
