All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Typically, prediction market odds reflect a different kind of wisdom than sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks often incorporate a 'vig' or commission into their odds, and may adjust lines based on betting biases or liability management. This market, on the other hand, represents the collective intelligence of traders who are incentivized to accurately predict the outcome. While sportsbooks may initially offer odds based on statistical models and expert analysis, prediction markets can often converge on more accurate probabilities as more information becomes available and more traders participate. It’s common to see differences, especially early in the market's lifecycle.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism, where traders buy and sell shares representing different exact scores. The price of each share reflects the market's implied probability of that score occurring. As more traders buy shares in a particular outcome, its price increases, and vice versa. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The market is entirely driven by supply and demand; traders are expressing their beliefs about the likelihood of each potential outcome by their willingness to trade at certain prices. This creates a dynamic and efficient price discovery process.
This market resolves around Sep 18, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final score of the Rodez Aveyron Football versus AS Nancy-Lorraine match will be used to determine the winning share(s). The resolution will be based on the official result published by the league or governing body responsible for the match. Traders will be able to claim their winnings once the outcome is officially verified and reported, and shares will settle accordingly based on the final score.
Several factors could influence the trading activity in this market. Any news regarding team injuries, suspensions, or changes in coaching staff could significantly shift the odds. Unexpected weather conditions on match day could also play a role, potentially favoring one team over another. Furthermore, pre-match analysis from sports commentators and experts, as well as any shifts in public sentiment, could impact trading volume and price movements. Even late-breaking news about player form or tactical adjustments could cause traders to reassess their predictions and adjust their positions.
