Frequently asked questions

Prediction markets and traditional sportsbooks price lineups differently. Sportsbooks set odds based on internal models and risk management, then adjust for sharp action. Prediction markets like this one aggregate trader beliefs in real time, often reflecting crowd sentiment and late-breaking team news more dynamically. Because traders have direct financial incentive to forecast accurately, prediction market odds can sometimes diverge from sportsbook lines, especially as new information emerges closer to the match. Both venues ultimately reflect market confidence, but the mechanisms and speed of adjustment differ.

On Limitless, this market is priced through continuous order-book matching, where traders buy and sell shares representing yes or no outcomes. On Limitless, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The current implied probability reflects the last executed trade price, and you can place limit or market orders to enter or exit your position. Liquidity and spreads depend on active trader participation; higher volume typically narrows the bid-ask gap and improves execution quality for larger trades.

This market resolves around Jun 28, 2026, once the Panama vs England match concludes and the official starting lineup is confirmed. The outcome is verified against credible public sources reporting the teams' actual field selections. Once the event is finalized and documented, the market settles automatically based on whether Rice, Gordon, and Kane all appeared in England's starting XI. Early resolution is not typical unless the match is postponed or cancelled under extraordinary circumstances.

Several catalysts can shift odds in this market. Injury reports or official team news about Rice, Gordon, or Kane will trigger immediate repricing. Tactical announcements from England's coaching staff, lineup leaks from credible journalists, or changes in match conditions could alter manager selection decisions. Historical performance data, head-to-head records against Panama, and broader squad rotation patterns also influence trader positioning. As match day nears, late-breaking developments—such as unexpected fitness concerns or strategic shifts—often drive the most volatile price movements.
