Description

This market will resolve to "YES" if both Rennes and Marseille score at least one goal each during regular time (90 minutes plus stoppage time only) in the Ligue 1 match scheduled for September 11, 2026, 18:45 UTC. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "NO." If the match is postponed, this market will remain open until the match has been completed. If no official final result is recognized and no make-up match is scheduled, this market will resolve "50-50." Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome.

Frequently asked questions

Often, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and need to account for profit margins, while this market is driven by traders who are incentivized to accurately predict the outcome. If a significant discrepancy exists, arbitrage opportunities may arise, where traders can profit by betting on both the prediction market and a sportsbook. However, it's important to remember that both types of odds represent probabilities as perceived by different groups.

On Limitless, this market is priced through a continuous order book where traders can buy and sell contracts representing their belief about whether both Rennes and Marseille will score. The price of these contracts fluctuates based on supply and demand, effectively creating a real-time probability assessment. On Limitless, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The current price reflects the collective judgment of all traders participating in this market, and the implied probability can be derived from the contract price. This dynamic pricing mechanism aims to provide a more accurate forecast than static odds.

This market resolves around Sep 12, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Resolution will depend on whether both Rennes and Marseille score at least one goal during the match. Official match data will be used to determine if both teams found the back of the net, and that information will be used to determine the winning outcome for this market. The result will be based on the final scoreline of the Rennes versus Marseille match.

Several factors could influence the price of this market before the match concludes. Any news regarding key player injuries or suspensions for either Rennes or Marseille would likely have a significant impact. Changes in team form, tactical adjustments, or even weather conditions could also shift trader sentiment. Unexpected lineup announcements or pre-match interviews with managers revealing their strategies could also move the market. Ultimately, any information that alters the perceived likelihood of both teams scoring will likely cause fluctuations in the trading volume and price.
