In the upcoming Ligue 2 game between Red Star FC and FC Metz, scheduled for September 14, 2026 at 2:45 PM ET: This market will resolve based on the final score of the Red Star FC vs. FC Metz match originally scheduled for September 14, 2026 at 2:45 PM ET, considering only the result at the end of 90 minutes of regulation plus stoppage time; extra time and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. If the actual score is not one of the explicitly listed outcomes, the market resolves to "Any Other Score." If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Prediction market odds in this market often differ from traditional sportsbook lines because they reflect crowd-sourced probabilities rather than set bookmaker margins. While sportsbooks may offer adjusted odds to guarantee profit, prediction markets let traders bet directly on their beliefs. This can lead to sharper or more volatile pricing, especially as new information emerges about team form or injuries before the match.
On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. On Polymarket, traders collectively set the price for each possible score outcome through buying and selling shares. The current probability for any specific result reflects the ratio of shares sold to those available. As betting activity changes — influenced by news, injuries, or recent performance — these probabilities shift dynamically, with the most likely scores typically holding higher implied chances.
This market resolves around Sep 14, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the match result is verifiable from credible public reporting. The exact final score reported by reputable sports news sources will determine which traders have the winning positions. No manual intervention or subjective judgment is involved — the market settles automatically based on publicly recorded match data.
Key events like player injuries, coaching changes, or recent form for either team can significantly shift probabilities in this market. Weather conditions affecting the match venue, disciplinary actions, or even early goal updates on match day can cause rapid price swings. Traders will also watch for any last-minute lineup announcements or tactical shifts that might influence the likely score line.
