Each market resolves to 'Yes' if the combined goals exceed a specified threshold—ranging from more than 0.5 to more than 5.5 goals—within the 90 minutes plus stoppage time of regular play, excluding extra time or penalty kicks. All markets are independent, meaning each threshold is assessed separately. Kalshi clarifies that it holds no official affiliation with the governing league, and all trademarks remain property of their respective owners.
Prediction market odds often differ from traditional sportsbook lines because they reflect crowd-sourced probabilities rather than set operator margins. In this market, the decentralized nature allows for rapid adjustments based on new information, such as player injuries or weather changes. Sportsbook odds may include a built-in house edge, while prediction markets let traders bet directly on their own assessments of the most likely exact score.
Injuries to key players, weather conditions, or tactical changes announced by coaches can all shift this market. Momentum swings during early match play, as well as broader betting trends on Polymarket and Kalshi, may also cause probability adjustments. Any news that alters the perceived likelihood of specific scores will influence trader behavior and shift implied chances before the final whistle.
