In the upcoming Brazil Série A game between Red Bull Bragantino and Grêmio FBPA, scheduled for August 23, 2026 at 3:00 PM ET: This market will resolve based on the final score of the Red Bull Bragantino vs. Grêmio FBPA match originally scheduled for August 23, 2026 at 3:00 PM ET, considering only the result at the end of 90 minutes of regulation plus stoppage time; extra time and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. If the actual score is not one of the explicitly listed outcomes, the market resolves to "Any Other Score." If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome.
Each market resolves based on the total goals scored in the Bragantino vs Gremio professional Brasileiro Serie A soccer game scheduled for Aug 23, 2026, after 90 minutes plus stoppage time. If the specified threshold of goals is exceeded, the respective market resolves to Yes; otherwise, it resolves to No. Extra time and penalty shootout goals are excluded from all calculations. Kalshi disclaims any official affiliation with the Governing League, and all trademarks remain property of their respective owners.
Prediction market odds on this market often differ from traditional sportsbook lines because they reflect a different type of betting — probabilistic expectations rather than fixed payouts. While sportsbooks may offer spread or over/under betting with set margins, prediction markets price the chance of each exact score outcome directly. This can lead to wider or narrower implied probabilities depending on trader sentiment. For example, a low-chance exact score on the market might still attract speculators if they see value, unlike sportsbook odds which are adjusted for broad appeal and bookmaker margins.
On Polymarket and Kalshi, trader activity and liquidity can cause prices to diverge. Each venue has its own user base and depth, meaning that shifts in betting volume or sentiment may affect one platform before the other. For example, a sudden change in player availability could move odds more dramatically on the platform with more open interest in that specific outcome. This can result in Polymarket showing a different implied probability than Kalshi for the same match result.
Injuries, weather conditions, and tactical changes can all shift this market as the match nears. Key player absences or last-minute lineup announcements often cause rapid re-pricing, especially if star performers are ruled out. Additionally, momentum swings during early match play — such as red cards or fast goals — can cascade into broader market adjustments. Traders will also watch for crowd sentiment and referee decisions that might influence the pace or scoring potential of the game, moving implied probabilities across platforms before the final whistle.
