Polymarket offers granular exact-score outcomes (0-0 through 3-3 plus Any Other Score), while Kalshi provides over/under total goals markets (0.5 through 5.5 goals). Both platforms resolve based on the official 90-minute regulation result excluding extra time and penalties.
In the upcoming Brazil Série A game between Red Bull Bragantino and Coritiba FBC, scheduled for July 26, 2026 at 5:30 PM ET: This market will resolve based on the final score of the Red Bull Bragantino vs. Coritiba FBC match originally scheduled for July 26, 2026 at 5:30 PM ET, considering only the result at the end of 90 minutes of regulation plus stoppage time; extra time and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. If the actual score is not one of the explicitly listed outcomes, the market resolves to "Any Other Score." If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome.
Resolution is based on the total goals scored by both teams in the Bragantino vs Coritiba Brasileiro Serie A match scheduled for July 26, 2026, measured after 90 minutes plus stoppage time (excluding extra time and penalties). Each market threshold (0.5, 1.5, 2.5, 3.5, 4.5, and 5.5 goals) resolves independently: if the combined goal total exceeds the specified threshold, the market resolves to Yes; otherwise, it resolves to No.
Prediction markets and sportsbooks price outcomes differently because they operate on distinct mechanisms. Sportsbooks set odds to balance their book and lock in profit margins, while prediction markets derive prices from live trader supply and demand. This often means prediction market odds reflect sharper, less-biased consensus—especially on niche outcomes like exact scores—because traders risk real capital and face direct counterparties. However, sportsbooks may offer tighter spreads on mainstream bets due to higher liquidity. For an exact-score market, prediction venues typically show wider ranges across possible outcomes, giving you granular pricing on each scoreline rather than bundled categories.
Team news—injuries, suspensions, or lineup changes—can shift odds significantly, especially if key players are ruled out. Pre-match analysis, recent form, head-to-head records, and weather conditions all influence trader positioning. As kickoff approaches, late money often flows toward favorites or contrarian positions, tightening or widening spreads. Live updates during the match itself, such as early goals or red cards, will trigger sharp repricing on remaining exact-score outcomes. Additionally, shifts in broader market sentiment or new betting syndicates entering either platform can accelerate price movement. Monitor team announcements and sports news closely in the hours before kickoff.
