Unified Resolution Criteria (Consistent across platforms)
All platforms resolve based on the official final match result after 90 minutes plus stoppage time on April 22, 2026, with identical treatment of postponements and cancellations across Polymarket and Kalshi.
Primary resolution logic:
Official La Liga statistics as recognized by the governing body or event organizers; if unavailable within 2 hours post-match, credible reporting consensus may be used.
Core resolution logic:
Market resolves based on the final outcome of the match after 90 minutes of regular play plus stoppage time only, excluding extra time or penalties.
Three mutually exclusive outcomes are possible: Real Sociedad win, Getafe win, or draw.
If the match is postponed, all markets remain open until the match is completed.
If the match is canceled entirely with no make-up game, Polymarket draw market resolves YES, while Polymarket win markets and all Kalshi markets resolve NO.
Edge cases & Clarifications:
Match Cancellation: If the match is canceled with no rescheduled date, the draw market on Polymarket resolves YES while all win markets resolve NO. Kalshi markets also resolve NO in this scenario.
Postponement: If the match is postponed, all markets remain open and unresolved until the match is actually played on its new date.
Resolution Source Hierarchy: Primary source is official La Liga statistics from the governing body. If official statistics are not published within 2 hours after match conclusion, credible reporting consensus becomes the resolution basis.
Timing:
Resolution occurs upon official announcement of the final match result by La Liga or credible reporting consensus within 2 hours post-match conclusion.
