On Polymarket, this market prices outcomes using trader funds, often showing sharper or more volatile odds than traditional sportsbooks. Prediction markets can react faster to new information, like lineup changes or weather updates, while sportsbooks incorporate broader public betting patterns and adjusted margins. The gap between the two can widen if one venue has more liquidity or unique market depth, giving traders an edge when spotting mispricings across platforms.
