Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks often set initial lines based on statistical models and expert analysis, while this market allows anyone to express their belief about the outcome, potentially leading to different probabilities. It’s common to see prediction markets incorporate information faster than sportsbooks, especially as new information becomes available. However, arbitrage opportunities may exist if significant discrepancies arise between the two.
