Frequently asked questions

Price differences between Polymarket and Predict often stem from varying user bases, liquidity levels, and trading activity. Polymarket and Predict can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. For instance, if one platform has more active traders focused on domestic leagues, its odds may shift faster in response to local news or momentum swings. Additionally, each platform’s fee structure and market design can influence how traders place bets, leading to distinct probability curves even for the same underlying event. These factors combined create the observed gap in pricing for this market.

In the run-up to resolution, key events such as recent form, player injuries, managerial tactics, or even weather conditions could shift this market. Major news — like a star player being ruled out or a surprise lineup change — may cause rapid adjustments in probability as traders reassess the odds. Volume often spikes around $10 in the 24 hours before the match, reflecting heightened interest and information flow.
