On Polymarket and Predict, prices can differ because each platform attracts distinct user bases and may have varying liquidity levels. Polymarket and Predict can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. For instance, one venue might see heavier betting from soccer specialists, skewing its odds toward a particular team, while the other could reflect a more general audience. Additionally, each platform’s fee structure and trading interface can influence how users place bets, leading to price discrepancies even when both markets track the same outcome.
