In the upcoming La Liga game between Real Betis Balompié and Getafe CF, scheduled for September 17, 2026 at 1:00 PM ET: This market will resolve based on the halftime score of the Real Betis Balompié vs. Getafe CF match originally scheduled for September 17, 2026 at 1:00 PM ET, considering only goals scored within the first 45 minutes of regular play plus first-half stoppage time; second-half goals, extra time, and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. If the actual halftime score is not one of the explicitly listed outcomes, the market resolves to "Any Other Score." If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can often differ from those offered by traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks set their lines based on internal models and a desire to balance their risk, while this market allows anyone to express their belief about the outcome. If a significant number of people believe a particular score is more likely than the sportsbook suggests, the odds on Polymarket will move accordingly. It’s common to see discrepancies, especially early in the market’s life, as information becomes incorporated into the price.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism. Traders buy and sell contracts representing different possible first-half scores in the Real Betis vs. Getafe match. The price of each contract reflects the probability that outcome will occur, as determined by supply and demand. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders participate, the prices adjust to reflect the collective prediction. The higher the demand for a specific score, the higher its price will climb, indicating greater confidence in that outcome.
This market resolves around Sep 17, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final first-half score of the Real Betis vs. Getafe match will be used to determine the winning contract. The resolution will be based on official match data and will be publicly available following the conclusion of the first half. Traders holding the winning contract will be paid out according to the final market price at resolution.
Several factors could influence the price of this market before Sep 17, 2026. Any news regarding team injuries, suspensions, or changes in starting lineups for either Real Betis or Getafe would likely cause significant movement. Unexpected weather conditions at the match venue could also play a role. Furthermore, in-game events during the first half of the match itself – such as early goals, red cards, or penalties – would instantly impact the odds as traders react to the unfolding situation. Public sentiment and analysis from sports commentators could also contribute to price fluctuations.
