On Polymarket, this market reflects crowd-sourced expectations rather than traditional sportsbook lines. Prediction market odds capture the collective wisdom of participants, often showing tighter spreads and dynamic adjustments based on real-time trading activity. Sportsbook odds, by contrast, incorporate bookmaker margins and may lag behind rapid shifts in public sentiment. The difference can be notable, especially for niche matchups like the RCD Espanyol vs Real Madrid second half result market, where prediction markets sometimes price in subtler factors like recent form or tactical changes that sportsbooks might smooth out for broader appeal.
