This market refers to the Rainbow Six Siege Upper bracket final match between Weibo Gaming and Daystar in the Asia Pacific League Asia - Stage 1 Playoffs, initially scheduled for July 15 at 5:00AM ET. This market will resolve to "Weibo Gaming" if Weibo Gaming win the match against Daystar. This market will resolve to "Daystar" if Daystar win the match against Weibo Gaming. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://liquipedia.net/rainbowsix/Main_Page. However, if https://liquipedia.net/rainbowsix/Main_Page has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Prediction markets and sportsbooks price outcomes differently because they operate under distinct incentive structures. Sportsbooks set odds to balance their book and lock in profit margins, while prediction markets rely on trader consensus to discover prices. This market reflects aggregated trader belief rather than a bookmaker's margin-adjusted line. Comparing this market's odds to traditional esports sportsbooks can reveal whether professional bettors and casual predictors view the Rainbow Six Siege matchup differently, though direct parity is rare due to fee structures and market depth variations.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through an automated market maker mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing each outcome. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The current odds reflect the aggregate of all buy and sell orders, with prices adjusting dynamically as volume flows in. Shares cost between 0 and 1 dollar, and traders profit by correctly predicting which team advances in each game. The market's price discovery process incorporates real-time information about team form, roster changes, and community sentiment surrounding the Rainbow Six Siege matchup.
This market resolves around Jul 15, 2026, once the Rainbow Six Siege series concludes and the result is verifiable from credible public reporting. The outcome is determined by the official match result as reported by the Asia Pacific League and confirmed through established esports news sources. Traders should monitor the event schedule and league announcements to anticipate resolution timing, as delays or rescheduling can affect when the market settles and payouts are distributed.
Key catalysts include team roster announcements, recent performance trends in the Asia Pacific League, and pre-match commentary from professional analysts. In-game momentum shifts—such as early map wins or tactical adjustments—often trigger sharp repricing as traders update their conviction. Injury reports, player substitutions, or unexpected coaching changes can also swing odds significantly. Social media sentiment and betting activity from high-profile community members may amplify moves, while live-streaming viewership spikes can correlate with increased trading volume and volatility in this market.
