PredictionHero - Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA)

Divergence Detected

Issue: Kalshi's resolution logic is logically incoherent: both Virtus.pro victory and Geekay Esports victory trigger YES resolution, leaving no valid NO outcome. Polymarket uses a standard binary outcome model (winner-takes-all or 50-50 on edge cases), which is logically sound.Hero tip: Kalshi's market is unresolvable as written. Before trading, obtain clarification on whether: (1) NO resolves only on cancellation/forfeit/tie, (2) this is a data entry error, or (3) the market will be corrected or withdrawn. Polymarket's market is resolvable and should be preferred until Kalshi's logic is fixed.

Critical divergence points:

  • Polymarket: Binary outcome market: resolves to Virtus.pro if Virtus.pro wins, resolves to Geekay Esports if Geekay Esports wins. Resolves 50-50 on cancellation, tie, delay beyond 7 days without completion, or pre-match forfeit/disqualification. Completed forfeits/walkovers mid-match resolve to the winning team. Source: Liquipedia with 2-hour fallback to credible reporting.
  • Kalshi: Stated as binary YES/NO but resolution criteria specify YES for both Virtus.pro victory and Geekay Esports victory, with no explicit NO condition defined. This creates a logical gap: if both team victories resolve YES, what resolves NO?
Our PredictionHero Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA) are there to help users identify potential differences across platforms. They do not replace or supersede the official rules and description of any prediction market. Users are solely responsible for reviewing and understanding the applicable rules and resolution criteria before placing any trade or bet. If you notice a potential inconsistency, discrepancy, or error in an alert, please report it to our team so we can review and improve the accuracy of our data.

Polymarket

This market refers to the Rainbow Six Siege match between Virtus.pro and Geekay Esports in the Europe MENA League Stage 1 Group Stage, initially scheduled for June 15 at 1:00PM ET. This market will resolve to "Virtus.pro" if Virtus.pro win the match against Geekay Esports. This market will resolve to "Geekay Esports" if Geekay Esports win the match against Virtus.pro. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://liquipedia.net/rainbowsix/Main_Page. However, if https://liquipedia.net/rainbowsix/Main_Page has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Kalshi

Resolution is determined by the outcome of the Europe MENA League Stage 1 2026 Rainbow Six Siege match between Geekay Esports and Virtus.pro scheduled for June 15, 2026 at 1:00 PM EDT. The market resolves to Yes for whichever team wins the match.

Frequently asked questions

On Polymarket and Kalshi, traders forecast the outcome of this Rainbow Six Siege matchup by buying and selling shares tied to each team's victory. The dashboard aggregates real-time probability estimates across both platforms, reflecting how the prediction market community weighs each side's chances. As traders update positions based on team news, roster changes, and pre-match analysis, the consensus odds shift. Tracking this market lets you see whether professional predictors favor Virtus.pro or view Geekay Esports as competitive, often before traditional sportsbooks adjust their lines.

Prediction markets and sportsbooks price the same event differently because they operate under distinct incentive structures. Sportsbooks set odds to balance their book and lock in profit margins, while prediction markets reflect pure trader belief—no house edge. This market often moves faster on prediction platforms when new information emerges, since traders profit directly from accuracy rather than volume. Comparing this market's odds to major sportsbooks can reveal mispricings, though both should converge as event time approaches and information becomes public.

Polymarket and Kalshi can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. Each platform attracts different trader demographics, liquidity pools, and fee structures, causing temporary price gaps. Polymarket's order-book model may reflect faster-moving retail sentiment, while Kalshi's mechanics can emphasize longer-term conviction trades. Market depth, platform user base composition, and regional trading patterns also influence how quickly each platform incorporates new information about team form or roster updates. Arbitrage traders often exploit these spreads, but gaps can persist if liquidity is thin on one side.

Key catalysts include roster announcements, player injuries or substitutions, recent tournament results, and head-to-head scrim outcomes shared by team insiders. Meta shifts in Rainbow Six Siege gameplay or map pool changes can also reshape expectations. Media coverage, analyst predictions, and betting volume spikes on competing platforms often precede sharp market moves. Watch for official team statements or social media activity hinting at preparation level or confidence, as these frequently trigger repricing across prediction markets hours before match start.
