PredictionHero - Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA)

Divergence Detected

Issue: Kalshi market contains a logical contradiction: both possible match outcomes (EDward Gaming win and TYLOO win) are mapped to the same resolution state (Yes), making the market mathematically unresolvable. Polymarket defines five coherent, internally consistent markets with detailed edge-case rules.Hero tip: Polymarket markets are safe to trade and follow standard esports resolution practices. Kalshi's binary market is broken and unresolvable as written. Request clarification from Kalshi before engaging. If forced to settle, Kalshi should resolve 50-50 due to ambiguous resolution criteria.

Critical divergence points:

  • Polymarket: Five distinct markets with granular resolution: Game 1 Winner, Game 2 Winner, Match Winner (resolves 50-50 on forfeit/disqualification/walkover), Games Total O/U 2.5 (counts forfeits as completed matches), and Game Handicap EDG (-1.5). All use Liquipedia as primary source with 2-hour fallback to credible reporting. Edge cases are explicitly defined for each market.
  • Kalshi: Single binary market with contradictory resolution logic: 'If EDward Gaming wins... resolves to Yes. If TYLOO wins... resolves to Yes.' Both possible outcomes map to identical resolution state, creating logical impossibility. No edge-case handling, no source specification, no tie-breaker rules defined.
Our PredictionHero Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA) are there to help users identify potential differences across platforms. They do not replace or supersede the official rules and description of any prediction market. Users are solely responsible for reviewing and understanding the applicable rules and resolution criteria before placing any trade or bet. If you notice a potential inconsistency, discrepancy, or error in an alert, please report it to our team so we can review and improve the accuracy of our data.

Polymarket

This market refers to the Rainbow Six Siege Upper bracket final match between TYLOO and EDward Gaming in the CN League Stage 1 Playoffs, initially scheduled for July 18 at 6:30AM ET. This market will resolve to "TYLOO" if TYLOO win the match against EDward Gaming. This market will resolve to "EDward Gaming" if EDward Gaming win the match against TYLOO. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://liquipedia.net/rainbowsix/Main_Page. However, if https://liquipedia.net/rainbowsix/Main_Page has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Kalshi

Resolution is based on the official match result published by the governing body or tournament organizer. If the match is postponed and not completed within 48 hours of the originally scheduled start time, or if it is cancelled before play begins, or if it is forfeited before any play occurs, the market will resolve to the fair market price. If the match begins and is subsequently forfeited, resolution follows the official result as published by the governing body or tournament organizer.

Frequently asked questions

This dashboard aggregates prediction market data across Polymarket and Kalshi for the TYLOO vs EDward Gaming match, allowing you to monitor real-time odds on multiple outcomes including individual game winners and overall match results. Traders on both platforms are pricing their views of how this Rainbow Six Siege playoff bout will unfold, with combined volume reflecting the aggregate interest across venues. The dashboard surfaces the leading outcomes and their respective probabilities, giving you a snapshot of where the prediction market consensus stands as the event approaches.

Prediction markets and traditional sportsbooks price events differently. Sportsbooks set odds to balance their book and lock in profit margins, while prediction markets aggregate trader beliefs through real-money incentives, often reflecting sharper, crowd-sourced probability estimates. Prediction market prices tend to adjust faster to new information because traders profit directly from accuracy. However, sportsbook odds may incorporate factors like sharp money, syndicate positioning, and risk management that differ from pure probability. Comparing this market across both venues can reveal where consensus is strongest and where divergence suggests uncertainty.

Key catalysts include roster changes or player substitutions announced by either team, recent tournament results and win streaks, injury reports or roster stability news, and any public statements from coaches or analysts about strategy. Pre-match scrims or practice footage that leaks can shift trader sentiment. Broader esports news—such as sponsorship changes, team morale updates, or meta shifts in the game itself—may also influence odds. As the match date approaches, betting patterns and sharp money movement often signal informed traders' conviction, creating momentum in one direction or the other.
