This market refers to the Rainbow Six Siege match between TYLOO and EDward Gaming in the CN League Stage 1 Group Stage, initially scheduled for June 27 at 8:30AM ET. This market will resolve to "TYLOO" if TYLOO win the match against EDward Gaming. This market will resolve to "EDward Gaming" if EDward Gaming win the match against TYLOO. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://liquipedia.net/rainbowsix/Main_Page. However, if https://liquipedia.net/rainbowsix/Main_Page has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Prediction market odds and sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different participant bases and incentive structures. Sportsbooks set odds to balance liability and extract a margin, while prediction markets like this one are driven by trader consensus without a built-in spread. Sportsbooks may incorporate sharper professional action and real-time risk management, whereas prediction markets aggregate distributed information from a broader crowd. For esports events like this match, sportsbook coverage can be limited, making prediction markets a valuable alternative lens on where informed traders see value.
On Polymarket, traders set prices by buying and selling outcome shares in an automated market maker system. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of each share reflects the collective assessment of that outcome's probability, with higher prices indicating stronger confidence. As new information emerges—team roster changes, recent performance, or betting patterns—traders adjust their positions, moving prices dynamically. This continuous repricing mechanism ensures the market reflects up-to-date expectations about which team is favored to win.
This market resolves around Jun 27, 2026, once the match concludes and the result is verifiable from credible public sources. The outcome will reflect the official winner determined by the tournament organizers and confirmed through established esports reporting channels. Until that point, prices may shift as the event approaches and new developments emerge. Resolution depends on the match being completed and the result being publicly confirmed, at which time the market will settle accordingly.
Several factors could shift prices before resolution. Team roster announcements or player substitutions would signal a change in competitive strength. Recent scrim results, tournament performance by either squad, or coaching adjustments might influence trader sentiment. Meta shifts in Rainbow Six Siege—new map strategies or operator balance patches—could favor one team's playstyle. Media coverage highlighting injury concerns, team morale, or head-to-head history may also sway the market. Any credible reporting about match conditions or external circumstances could trigger repricing as traders reassess their positions.
