This market refers to the Rainbow Six Siege match between Team Liquid and FaZe Clan in the South America League Stage 1 Group Stage, initially scheduled for June 28 at 5:00PM ET. This market will resolve to "Team Liquid" if Team Liquid win the match against FaZe Clan. This market will resolve to "FaZe Clan" if FaZe Clan win the match against Team Liquid. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://liquipedia.net/rainbowsix/Main_Page. However, if https://liquipedia.net/rainbowsix/Main_Page has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Prediction market odds and sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different participant bases and incentive structures. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and lock in profit margins, while prediction markets like this one are driven by traders seeking to profit on accurate forecasts. Sportsbook odds typically incorporate sharp professional input and real-time adjustments to manage liability. Prediction markets can sometimes price outcomes differently, especially when retail traders dominate or when information asymmetries exist. Comparing the two can reveal where consensus differs and highlight potential value opportunities.
On Polymarket, traders set prices by buying and selling outcome shares in an automated market maker system. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of each outcome reflects the aggregate belief of all participants—higher prices indicate stronger collective confidence. As new information emerges or sentiment shifts, traders adjust their positions, moving prices up or down in real time. Liquidity and trading volume influence how quickly prices respond to new signals, and wider spreads can appear during low-activity periods.
This market resolves around Jun 29, 2026, once the match concludes and the result is verifiable from credible public sources. The outcome will reflect which team wins the best-of-one encounter. Resolution occurs after the event is officially confirmed, ensuring accuracy and preventing disputes. Traders holding shares in the winning outcome receive their payout, while losing positions expire worthless. The exact timing may shift slightly if the match is postponed or rescheduled.
Team roster changes, player injuries, or last-minute lineup announcements can significantly shift odds before the match begins. Recent performance data, head-to-head records, and form trends in the South America League often influence trader positioning. Pre-match analysis from esports commentators and community sentiment on social media may trigger buying or selling waves. Betting patterns from professional or high-volume traders can also signal confidence shifts. Any official statements about map selection or tournament conditions could move prices as traders reassess competitive balance.
