This market refers to the Rainbow Six Siege Lower bracket semifinal match between Soul's Heart Esport and Team Orchid in the Asia Pacific League Asia - Stage 1 Playoffs, initially scheduled for July 15 at 8:00AM ET. This market will resolve to "Soul's Heart Esport" if Soul's Heart Esport win the match against Team Orchid. This market will resolve to "Team Orchid" if Team Orchid win the match against Soul's Heart Esport. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://liquipedia.net/rainbowsix/Main_Page. However, if https://liquipedia.net/rainbowsix/Main_Page has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Prediction market odds and traditional sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different pricing mechanisms. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and lock in profit margins, while prediction markets are driven by trader consensus and real-money incentives to forecast accurately. For esports events like this one, sportsbook coverage can be limited or unavailable, making prediction markets a valuable alternative for assessing true probability. Traders on Polymarket aggregate dispersed information—team form, roster changes, recent performances—into prices that may differ meaningfully from any available betting lines, especially as the event date approaches.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through an automated market maker that converts trader buy and sell orders into real-time probabilities. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Traders deposit collateral and purchase shares representing each outcome; the price of each share reflects the collective belief in that result. As new information surfaces—team announcements, scrim results, or injury updates—traders adjust their positions, moving the price up or down. The current odds represent the marginal trader's assessment at that moment, and the market remains open for continuous trading until resolution.
This market resolves around Jul 15, 2026, once the Soul's Heart vs Team Orchid match concludes and the result is verifiable from credible public sources. The outcome will be confirmed based on the official match result as reported by the Asia Pacific League or recognized esports news outlets. Until that point, traders can continue to buy and sell shares as odds fluctuate. Resolution is final once the event is complete and the winner is officially announced.
Several catalysts could shift odds before the match begins. Roster changes, player substitutions, or unexpected roster announcements from either team would likely trigger significant repricing. Recent tournament results, scrim performances, or public statements from coaches and players can influence trader confidence. Technical issues, server problems, or format changes announced by the league may also move the market. Additionally, betting activity from informed esports analysts or professional teams could signal new information. Monitor team social media, league announcements, and esports news outlets for developments that might reshape market expectations.
