PredictionHero - Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA)

Divergence Detected

Issue: Kalshi's resolution logic is logically contradictory and incomplete. Both possible match outcomes (Falcons Esport wins OR Shifters wins) are mapped to Yes, leaving no valid No resolution path and failing to address cancellations, delays, or forfeits. Polymarket provides a complete, resolvable framework.Hero tip: Polymarket's market is tradeable and auditable. Kalshi's market cannot be reliably settled as written—the platform must clarify what triggers a No resolution and how edge cases (cancellation, delay, forfeit) are handled. Until corrected, Kalshi represents unquantifiable settlement risk.

Critical divergence points:

  • Polymarket: Binary outcome market with explicit edge-case handling. Resolves to Shifters or Falcons Esport based on match result. Cancellations, ties, delays beyond 7 days, or pre-match forfeits resolve 50-50. Mid-match forfeits resolve to the winning team. Source: Liquipedia (official) with 2-hour credible-reporting fallback. Name discrepancies treated as referring to the same team if unambiguous.
  • Kalshi: Incomplete binary structure. States 'If Falcons Esport wins... resolves to Yes' and 'If Shifters wins... resolves to Yes.' Both outcomes map to the same resolution (Yes), creating a logical impossibility. No resolution criteria provided for cancellations, delays, forfeits, or ties. No fallback source or timing window specified.
Our PredictionHero Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA) are there to help users identify potential differences across platforms. They do not replace or supersede the official rules and description of any prediction market. Users are solely responsible for reviewing and understanding the applicable rules and resolution criteria before placing any trade or bet. If you notice a potential inconsistency, discrepancy, or error in an alert, please report it to our team so we can review and improve the accuracy of our data.

Polymarket

This market refers to the Rainbow Six Siege match between Shifters and Falcons Esport in the Europe MENA League Stage 1 Group Stage, initially scheduled for June 29 at 3:00PM ET. This market will resolve to "Shifters" if Shifters win the match against Falcons Esport. This market will resolve to "Falcons Esport" if Falcons Esport win the match against Shifters. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://liquipedia.net/rainbowsix/Main_Page. However, if https://liquipedia.net/rainbowsix/Main_Page has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Kalshi

Resolution is determined by the outcome of the Europe MENA League Stage 1 2026 Rainbow Six Siege match between Falcons Esport and Shifters scheduled for June 29, 2026 at 3:00 PM EDT. The market resolves to Yes for whichever team wins the match.

Frequently asked questions

Prediction markets like Polymarket and Kalshi differ from traditional sportsbooks in that traders set odds through continuous buying and selling rather than oddsmakers adjusting lines. Sportsbooks typically embed margins and manage liability, while prediction markets reflect pure crowd consensus with minimal spreads. For esports events like this one, prediction market pricing often reacts faster to roster changes, recent performance, and community insight, though sportsbook odds may incorporate sharper professional analysis and historical data models.

On Polymarket, traders use an automated market maker or order-book model to price outcomes, while Kalshi employs a different mechanism that can produce distinct equilibrium prices. Polymarket and Kalshi can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. Differences also stem from distinct user bases, liquidity depth, fee structures, and the timing of large trades. Esports markets on smaller platforms may experience wider spreads and slower price discovery, so comparing both venues reveals whether consensus is truly forming or if arbitrage gaps remain exploitable before resolution.

Key catalysts include roster announcements or player substitutions affecting either team's competitive strength, recent match performance and win streaks in the league, and community sentiment shifts on social media or esports forums. Injury reports, coaching changes, or tactical innovations revealed in prior Group Stage matches could shift trader expectations. Additionally, odds may shift based on betting volume spikes, professional analyst commentary, or updates to team rankings—all factors that influence how traders reassess each team's probability of victory before the fixture is played.
