This market refers to the Rainbow Six Siege match between Rival Esports and Shaiikademy in the Asia Pacific League Oceania - Stage 1 Group Stage, initially scheduled for June 22 at 5:00AM ET. This market will resolve to "Rival Esports" if Rival Esports win the match against Shaiikademy. This market will resolve to "Shaiikademy" if Shaiikademy win the match against Rival Esports. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://liquipedia.net/rainbowsix/Main_Page. However, if https://liquipedia.net/rainbowsix/Main_Page has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Prediction markets and traditional sportsbooks price events differently because they operate under distinct incentive structures. Sportsbooks set odds to balance their book and lock in profit margins, while prediction markets like this one derive prices from continuous trader participation and real-money commitments. Prediction market odds often reflect crowd wisdom and can diverge meaningfully from sportsbook lines, particularly as new information emerges. Comparing the two can reveal where professional oddsmakers and decentralized traders disagree on likelihood.
On Polymarket, traders set the price of this market through an automated market maker mechanism, where buying or selling shares moves the odds in real time. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The current implied probability reflects the balance between demand for each outcome. As more traders enter, the price adjusts to clear the market. This continuous repricing ensures that the odds you see always represent the latest consensus among active participants, with no fixed odds or manual adjustment by the platform.
This market resolves around Jun 22, 2026, once the match concludes and the result is verifiable from credible public sources. The outcome will be confirmed based on the official result reported by the Asia Pacific League Oceania. Until that point, traders can continue to buy and sell shares as new information and analysis emerge. Resolution occurs automatically once the event is finalized and the winning outcome is locked in.
Several factors could shift trader sentiment before resolution. Team roster changes, recent performance trends, or injury announcements affecting either squad may prompt repricing. Analyst commentary and community discussion about strategic matchups can influence perception. Betting activity on external sportsbooks sometimes correlates with prediction market movement. Additionally, any official league communications regarding scheduling or format changes could impact confidence in the forecast. Real-time match updates, once the event begins, will likely drive final price adjustments.
