This market refers to the Rainbow Six Siege Upper bracket semifinal 1 match between M80 and 100 Thieves in the North America League Stage 1 Playoffs, initially scheduled for July 9 at 2:00PM ET. This market will resolve to "M80" if M80 win the match against 100 Thieves. This market will resolve to "100 Thieves" if 100 Thieves win the match against M80. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://liquipedia.net/rainbowsix/Main_Page. However, if https://liquipedia.net/rainbowsix/Main_Page has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Prediction market odds and traditional sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different participant bases and incentive structures. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and protect their margin, while prediction markets aggregate trader beliefs in real time. For esports events like this one, sportsbook coverage may be limited or unavailable, making prediction markets a primary source for transparent, crowd-sourced probability estimates. Comparing the two can reveal where sharp bettors and casual traders disagree on likely outcomes.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through an automated market maker that converts trader orders into real-time probabilities. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Shares representing each outcome trade continuously, and the current price of a share reflects the market's collective belief in that result. As more traders buy or sell shares tied to M80 or 100 Thieves winning, the odds shift dynamically. This mechanism ensures prices stay responsive to new information and trader sentiment throughout the lead-up to the match.
This market resolves around Jul 10, 2026, once the best-of-three match concludes and the winner is verifiable from credible public sources. The outcome is determined by which team wins the series, with the result confirmed through official league reporting or broadcast records. Until that point, odds may shift as new information emerges—team roster changes, recent performance trends, or player availability updates. Resolution is final once the event is officially concluded and reported.
Several factors could shift odds before Jul 10, 2026. Roster announcements or player substitutions for either team may alter perceived strength. Recent tournament results, head-to-head records, and performance in earlier playoffs rounds can sway trader confidence. Injury reports or unexpected roster changes in the days before the match often trigger sharp price moves. Meta shifts in the game itself, patch updates, or map pool changes may also influence expectations. Large trades by informed participants can accelerate momentum in either direction.
