PredictionHero - Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA)

Divergence Detected

Issue: Kalshi's market contains a logical contradiction where both possible match outcomes (Fluxo W7M victory and LOUD victory) are defined to resolve to Yes, with no defined No condition. This makes the market fundamentally unresolvable as a binary prediction and creates a data integrity failure.Hero tip: Do not trade Kalshi's version of this market in its current form. The resolution logic guarantees a Yes outcome regardless of match result, eliminating predictive value. Polymarket's binary structure (LOUD vs Fluxo W7M) is the only logically sound version. Contact Kalshi support to confirm whether this is a documentation error before placing any bets.

Critical divergence points:

  • Polymarket: Binary outcome market with clear mutually exclusive resolution paths: resolves to LOUD if LOUD wins, resolves to Fluxo W7M if Fluxo W7M wins. Includes well-defined edge cases (cancellation, tie, delay beyond 7 days, pre-match forfeit all resolve 50-50; mid-match forfeit/disqualification resolves to winning team). Resolution source is Liquipedia with 2-hour fallback to credible reporting. Key Quote: 'This market will resolve to LOUD if LOUD win the match against Fluxo W7M. This market will resolve to Fluxo W7M if Fluxo W7M win the match against LOUD.'
  • Kalshi: Logically malformed Yes/No structure containing a critical contradiction: both Fluxo W7M victory and LOUD victory are defined to resolve to Yes, with no defined No condition. This creates a tautological market where any match result produces Yes. Key Quote: 'If Fluxo W7M wins...resolves to Yes. If LOUD wins...resolves to Yes.' (No No condition defined.)
Our PredictionHero Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA) are there to help users identify potential differences across platforms. They do not replace or supersede the official rules and description of any prediction market. Users are solely responsible for reviewing and understanding the applicable rules and resolution criteria before placing any trade or bet. If you notice a potential inconsistency, discrepancy, or error in an alert, please report it to our team so we can review and improve the accuracy of our data.

Polymarket

This market refers to the Rainbow Six Siege match between LOUD and Fluxo W7M in the South America League Stage 1 Group Stage, initially scheduled for July 12 at 3:45PM ET. This market will resolve to "LOUD" if LOUD win the match against Fluxo W7M. This market will resolve to "Fluxo W7M" if Fluxo W7M win the match against LOUD. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://liquipedia.net/rainbowsix/Main_Page. However, if https://liquipedia.net/rainbowsix/Main_Page has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Kalshi

Resolution is determined by the outcome of the South America League Stage 1 2026 Rainbow Six Siege match between Fluxo W7M and LOUD scheduled for July 12, 2026 at 3:45 PM EDT. The market resolves to Yes for whichever team wins the match.

Frequently asked questions

Prediction markets like Polymarket and Kalshi operate on peer-to-peer pricing rather than sportsbook margins, often reflecting sharper, more liquid consensus than traditional betting venues. Market odds update continuously as traders buy and sell positions, whereas sportsbooks adjust lines less frequently and embed built-in profit margins. For esports events like this one, prediction markets can offer tighter spreads and faster reaction to roster changes, coaching updates, or recent performance data that sportsbooks may lag on.

Polymarket and Kalshi can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. Platform design, user base composition, and liquidity depth drive pricing variation. Polymarket and Kalshi attract different trader demographics and may weight recent team performance, head-to-head records, or regional meta shifts differently. Kalshi's regulatory structure and Polymarket's broader retail participation can create temporary arbitrage windows, especially in lower-volume esports markets where information asymmetry persists longer than in traditional sports.

Player roster announcements, injury reports, or last-minute substitutions for either team can shift odds significantly. Recent tournament results, map pool updates, or patch changes to Rainbow Six Siege mechanics may alter strategic matchup assessments. Betting volume spikes often precede the match as casual traders enter, and any leaked scrimmage footage or analyst commentary on team form can trigger repricing. Monitor official team social media and league announcements for lineup confirmations closer to game day.
