This market refers to the Rainbow Six Siege match between Imperial Esports and Ninjas in Pyjamas in the South America League Stage 1 Group Stage, initially scheduled for June 27 at 2:30PM ET. This market will resolve to "Imperial Esports" if Imperial Esports win the match against Ninjas in Pyjamas. This market will resolve to "Ninjas in Pyjamas" if Ninjas in Pyjamas win the match against Imperial Esports. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://liquipedia.net/rainbowsix/Main_Page. However, if https://liquipedia.net/rainbowsix/Main_Page has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Prediction market odds and sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different participant bases and incentive structures. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and lock in profit margins, while prediction markets aggregate trader beliefs through continuous price discovery. This market may show higher or lower implied probabilities than traditional sports betting sites, depending on which venue's participants have fresher information or stronger conviction. Comparing the two can reveal where the crowd sees edge, though prediction markets typically update faster as new information emerges.
On Polymarket, traders set prices by buying and selling outcome shares in an automated market maker pool. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The current price reflects the aggregate belief of all active traders, with each transaction moving the odds incrementally. Shares cost between 0 and 1 USDC, where the price directly represents the implied probability. As new information surfaces—team roster changes, recent performance, or injury updates—traders adjust positions, causing the price to shift. Liquidity depth and trading volume influence how quickly prices respond to news.
This market resolves around Jun 28, 2026, once the match concludes and the result is verifiable from credible public sources. The outcome will reflect which team wins the best-of-one Rainbow Six Siege encounter in the South America League Stage 1 Group Stage. Resolution occurs after the match is officially completed and confirmed through established esports reporting channels. Traders should monitor the event schedule and official league communications to stay informed on timing, as any delays or rescheduling may affect the resolution window.
Key catalysts include roster announcements or player substitutions from either team, recent match results and win streaks, map pool updates or balance patches to the game, and injury or availability news affecting key players. Pre-match analysis from esports commentators and community sentiment can shift trader positioning. Odds may also react to betting activity on external sportsbooks or social media momentum. Closer to match day, team scrimmage results and official pre-game statements often trigger sharp moves as traders incorporate fresh tactical or form data.
