This market refers to the Rainbow Six Siege match between Imperial Esports and LOS in the South America League Stage 1 Group Stage, initially scheduled for July 4 at 1:15PM ET. This market will resolve to "Imperial Esports" if Imperial Esports win the match against LOS. This market will resolve to "LOS" if LOS win the match against Imperial Esports. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://liquipedia.net/rainbowsix/Main_Page. However, if https://liquipedia.net/rainbowsix/Main_Page has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Prediction markets and traditional sportsbooks price events differently because they operate under distinct incentive structures. Sportsbooks set odds to balance their book and lock in profit margins, while prediction markets aggregate the collective beliefs of traders who have real money at stake. This market reflects what traders genuinely expect to happen, often incorporating nuanced information faster than sportsbooks adjust their lines. Comparing the two can reveal where public perception diverges from professional oddsmaking.
On Polymarket, traders set prices by buying and selling outcome shares in an automated market maker system. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of each outcome reflects the aggregate probability that traders assign to it, with higher prices indicating greater confidence. As new information emerges or sentiment shifts, the market reprices dynamically. You can enter or exit positions at any time before resolution, and your entry price depends on the current order book depth and trading volume at that moment.
This market resolves around Jul 4, 2026, once the match concludes and the result is verifiable from credible public sources. The outcome is determined by which team wins the best-of-one Rainbow Six Siege encounter in the South America League Stage 1 Group Stage. Your position settles based on the confirmed winner, with payouts distributed automatically to holders of the winning outcome share.
Team roster changes, recent performance trends, and head-to-head records can shift trader sentiment significantly. In-game meta shifts or balance patches to Rainbow Six Siege may favor one squad's playstyle over the other. Injury or availability announcements for key players, coaching adjustments, and pre-match interviews often trigger repricing as new information surfaces. Additionally, betting volume spikes and large trades from high-conviction participants can move prices sharply, especially as the match date approaches and uncertainty narrows.
