This market refers to the Rainbow Six Siege match between FURIA Esports and LOUD in the South America League Stage 1 Group Stage, initially scheduled for June 27 at 12:00PM ET. This market will resolve to "FURIA Esports" if FURIA Esports win the match against LOUD. This market will resolve to "LOUD" if LOUD win the match against FURIA Esports. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://liquipedia.net/rainbowsix/Main_Page. However, if https://liquipedia.net/rainbowsix/Main_Page has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Prediction market odds and traditional sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different mechanisms. Sportsbooks set lines based on oddsmakers' models and manage risk through margin, while prediction markets like this one are priced by traders responding to real-time information and incentives to profit from accurate forecasts. Prediction markets frequently outperform sportsbooks at capturing ground truth, especially in niche esports events where public betting volume is lower. Comparing this market's odds to major esports sportsbooks can reveal whether traders are pricing in factors that traditional oddsmakers may have overlooked or weighted differently.
On Polymarket, traders set the price of this market through an automated market maker that adjusts odds based on buy and sell volume. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The current market probability reflects the collective assessment of all participants trading shares. As new information surfaces—such as team announcements, recent match results, or injury updates—traders adjust their positions, moving the price up or down. This continuous repricing mechanism ensures the market remains responsive to evolving conditions and incorporates dispersed knowledge from the trading community.
This market resolves around Jun 27, 2026, once the Rainbow Six Siege match concludes and the result is verifiable from credible public sources. The outcome is determined by which team wins the Best of One contest during the South America League Stage 1 Group Stage. Resolution occurs after the match is officially completed and the winner is confirmed through league records or trusted esports reporting. Traders should monitor official league communications and broadcast coverage to anticipate the timing and finality of the result.
Several catalysts could shift this market significantly before resolution. Roster changes or player substitutions announced by either team would alter perceived strength. Recent match results and head-to-head records between the squads influence trader confidence. In-game meta shifts or balance patches to Rainbow Six Siege itself can favor one team's playstyle over another. Injury or availability updates for key players, coaching changes, or public statements from team leadership may also trigger repricing. Betting activity from informed esports analysts or professional players can signal conviction and move the odds as traders react to their positions.
