Divergence Detected

Issue: Kalshi defines both win conditions as resolving to 'Yes', creating ambiguity and potentially reducing market information.Hero tip: Avoid taking strong positions on Kalshi due to the ambiguous outcome definition. Polymarket provides a more informative market.

Critical divergence points:

  • Polymarket: Resolves to FURIA Esports if FURIA wins, LOS if LOS wins, and 50-50 for cancellations/ties. "This market will resolve to \"FURIA Esports\" if FURIA Esports win the match against LOS."
  • Kalshi: Resolves to 'Yes' if either LOS or FURIA Esports wins. "If LOS wins the South America League Stage 2 2026: LOS vs. FURIA Esports R6 match originally scheduled for Sep 5, 2026 at 5:00 PM EDT, then the market resolves to Yes."
Our PredictionHero Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA) are there to help users identify potential differences across platforms. They do not replace or supersede the official rules and description of any prediction market. Users are solely responsible for reviewing and understanding the applicable rules and resolution criteria before placing any trade or bet. If you notice a potential inconsistency, discrepancy, or error in an alert, please report it to our team so we can review and improve the accuracy of our data.

Polymarket

This market refers to the Rainbow Six Siege match between FURIA Esports and LOS in the South America League Stage 2 Group Stage, initially scheduled for September 5, 2026 at 5:00 PM ET. This market will resolve to "FURIA Esports" if FURIA Esports win the match against LOS. This market will resolve to "LOS" if LOS win the match against FURIA Esports. If the match is canceled (not played at all) or ends in a tie, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match is postponed, it must be rescheduled to a start time on or before September 19, 2026 at 11:59 PM ET (14 calendar days after the originally scheduled start of September 5, 2026 at 5:00 PM ET). If, by that deadline, the most recently announced rescheduled start time is on or before the deadline, this market resolves based on the result of the match as played. Otherwise, this market resolves 50-50, regardless of whether the match is subsequently played. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://liquipedia.net/rainbowsix/Main_Page. However, if https://liquipedia.net/rainbowsix/Main_Page has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Kalshi

The event resolves based on the result of the LOS versus FURIA Esports Rainbow Six Siege match scheduled for September 5, 2026, at 5:00 PM EDT, within the South America League Stage 2 2026. Kalshi explicitly disclaims any affiliation with the governing league, and all trademarks remain property of their respective owners.

Frequently asked questions

Prediction market odds, like those found in this market, often reflect the collective wisdom of a diverse group of traders, potentially offering a different perspective than traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks set odds based on their own models and aim to profit from margins, while prediction markets allow participants to directly express their beliefs. This can lead to discrepancies, especially when there's significant public information or disagreement about the likely outcome. It’s common to see prediction markets move faster to incorporate new information than sportsbooks, offering a potentially more dynamic assessment of the event’s probability.
