This event group covers a best-of-three Rainbow Six Siege match between FaZe Clan and Team Liquid in the South America League Stage 1 Playoffs Upper bracket semifinal, scheduled for July 16, 2026 at 5:00 PM ET. Markets span individual game winners (Game 1, Game 2), series winner, games total over/under 2.5, and game handicap outcomes.
This market refers to the Rainbow Six Siege Upper bracket semifinal 1 match between FaZe Clan and Team Liquid in the South America League Stage 1 Playoffs, initially scheduled for July 16 at 5:00PM ET. This market will resolve to "FaZe Clan" if FaZe Clan win the match against Team Liquid. This market will resolve to "Team Liquid" if Team Liquid win the match against FaZe Clan. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://liquipedia.net/rainbowsix/Main_Page. However, if https://liquipedia.net/rainbowsix/Main_Page has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.
Resolution is based on the official match result published by the tournament organizer for the scheduled July 16, 2026 contest. If the match is postponed and does not conclude within 48 hours of its originally scheduled start time, or if it is cancelled before play begins, the market resolves to fair market price. If a forfeit occurs before any play begins, the market also resolves to fair market price. However, if the match begins and is subsequently forfeited by either team, resolution follows the official result as published by the governing body or tournament organizer.
Prediction markets like Polymarket and Kalshi operate on crowd-sourced pricing rather than traditional sportsbook models. Instead of a bookmaker setting fixed lines, traders collectively determine odds through continuous buying and selling, which often reflects real-time information faster than sportsbooks update their lines. Prediction markets typically charge lower fees and allow direct position-taking without point spreads or juice, making them attractive for those seeking pure probability estimates. However, sportsbooks may offer better liquidity on mainstream events and provide promotional bonuses that prediction markets do not.
Team roster changes, player injuries, or recent performance trends in regional qualifiers can shift odds significantly as traders reassess competitive balance. Coaching announcements or strategic shifts in either squad may trigger repricing if they suggest tactical advantages. Head-to-head scrim results or leaked gameplay footage circulating before the match often catalyze rapid position adjustments. Betting syndicates and professional traders monitoring esports news feeds can move prices sharply on new information, so following official team announcements and league updates helps anticipate market swings before the match begins.
