This market refers to the Rainbow Six Siege match between Cloud9 and Spacestation Gaming in the North America League Stage 1 Group Stage, initially scheduled for June 26 at 5:00PM ET. This market will resolve to "Cloud9" if Cloud9 win the match against Spacestation Gaming. This market will resolve to "Spacestation Gaming" if Spacestation Gaming win the match against Cloud9. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://liquipedia.net/rainbowsix/Main_Page. However, if https://liquipedia.net/rainbowsix/Main_Page has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Prediction markets and traditional sportsbooks often price esports matchups differently because they operate under distinct mechanisms. Sportsbooks employ oddsmakers who set lines based on statistical models and betting patterns, then adjust to manage liability. Prediction markets like this one rely on collective trader sentiment—thousands of participants buying and selling shares based on their own analysis. This can lead to faster price discovery when new information emerges, though sportsbooks sometimes offer tighter margins. Comparing this market's odds to major esports betting sites reveals whether traders are more or less bullish on Cloud9 than the broader betting market consensus.
On Polymarket, traders set the price of this market by buying and selling outcome shares in a continuous auction. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of each outcome reflects the aggregate belief of all participants—higher prices indicate stronger confidence in that result. As new information surfaces (team roster changes, recent match results, injury reports), traders adjust their positions, moving the price accordingly. The market's price discovery is driven entirely by supply and demand, with no central authority fixing odds. This dynamic pricing mechanism typically converges toward accurate probabilities as the event approaches and more information becomes public.
This market resolves around Jun 27, 2026, once the match concludes and the result is verified against credible public sources. The outcome is determined by which team wins the best-of-one format under North America League Stage 1 Group Stage rules. Resolution occurs after the official broadcast or league records confirm the victor. Traders holding shares in the winning outcome receive their payout, while losing positions expire worthless. The timing allows for confirmation of the final score and any official rulings before settlement is finalized.
Several factors could shift this market significantly before the match begins. Roster announcements or player substitutions for either team would likely trigger sharp price moves, as would injury reports or unexpected lineup changes. Recent tournament results and head-to-head records between Cloud9 and Spacestation Gaming influence trader confidence. Meta shifts in Rainbow Six Siege—new map strategies, operator bans, or patch changes—can alter perceived team strengths. Media coverage, expert analysis, and community sentiment also sway prices as traders incorporate new perspectives. Closer to the event, any technical issues, delays, or last-minute schedule changes could create volatility in this market.
