This market refers to the Rainbow Six Siege match between Chiefs Esports Club and Shaiikademy in the Asia Pacific League Oceania - Stage 1 Group Stage, initially scheduled for June 16 at 6:00AM ET. This market will resolve to "Chiefs Esports Club" if Chiefs Esports Club win the match against Shaiikademy. This market will resolve to "Shaiikademy" if Shaiikademy win the match against Chiefs Esports Club. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://liquipedia.net/rainbowsix/Main_Page. However, if https://liquipedia.net/rainbowsix/Main_Page has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Prediction market odds and sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different participant bases and incentive structures. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and lock in profit margins, while prediction markets aggregate decentralized trader beliefs through continuous price discovery. This market aggregates real-money commitments from many participants with direct financial exposure to the outcome, which can reveal information gaps or consensus that traditional sportsbooks may price differently. Comparing the two can highlight where market participants see value relative to conventional betting lines.
On Polymarket, traders set prices by buying and selling outcome shares, with the current market price reflecting the collective probability estimate. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Each share represents a claim on one outcome, and the combined value of all outcome shares equals one dollar at resolution. As new information emerges or trading sentiment shifts, prices adjust in real time. This continuous mechanism ensures the market price incorporates available information and trader conviction about which team will win this match.
This market resolves around Jun 16, 2026, once the match concludes and the result is verifiable from credible public sources. The outcome is determined by which team wins the best-of-one encounter in the Asia Pacific League Oceania Stage 1 Group Stage. Resolution occurs after the official match result is confirmed, ensuring accuracy and eliminating ambiguity about the winner.
Key catalysts include roster changes, player injuries, recent team performance trends, and head-to-head historical matchups. Patch updates to Rainbow Six Siege or meta shifts in competitive play can also influence expectations. Pre-match analysis, team statements, and community sentiment may drive trading activity as the event date approaches. Live updates during the match itself—such as early round outcomes or momentum swings—will likely trigger sharp price movements as traders reassess win probability in real time.
