This market refers to the Rainbow Six Siege Upper bracket semifinal 1 match between CAG by VARREL and SCARZ in the Asia Pacific League APAC North - Stage 1 Playoffs, initially scheduled for July 8 at 5:00AM ET. This market will resolve to "CAG by VARREL" if CAG by VARREL win the match against SCARZ. This market will resolve to "SCARZ" if SCARZ win the match against CAG by VARREL. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://liquipedia.net/rainbowsix/Main_Page. However, if https://liquipedia.net/rainbowsix/Main_Page has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Prediction markets and traditional sportsbooks price esports events through different mechanisms. Sportsbooks set lines based on internal models and risk management, while prediction markets aggregate trader beliefs through continuous price discovery. This market reflects crowdsourced expectations from participants actively wagering on the outcome. Comparing the two can reveal where public consensus diverges from professional oddsmakers, though each venue serves different user preferences and regulatory frameworks.
On Polymarket, traders set prices through an automated market maker mechanism, where buying and selling pressure directly moves the odds. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The current implied probability reflects the collective assessment of participants trading shares tied to specific outcomes—such as Game 2 winners or series results. As new match data, team updates, or roster information surfaces, traders adjust positions, causing prices to shift in real time and revealing evolving confidence in each team's chances.
This market resolves around Jul 8, 2026, once the Rainbow Six Siege playoff fixture concludes and results are verifiable from credible public reporting. The outcome is determined by the actual match results as they unfold across the best-of-three series. Traders holding positions tied to specific game or series winners will see their contracts settle based on which team advances or which individual games are won, confirmed through official league records and broadcast coverage.
Several factors could shift this market before resolution. Roster announcements, player substitutions, or injury updates affecting either team could alter perceived strength. Pre-match analysis, recent tournament performance, and head-to-head records may influence trader positioning. Live match developments—such as early game outcomes, map selections, or momentum swings during the series—typically drive the most significant price movements. Media coverage and expert commentary can also sway sentiment as the event approaches and unfolds.
