PredictionHero - Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA)

Divergence Detected

Issue: Kalshi's resolution criteria are logically contradictory (both outcomes map to Yes), making the market unresolvable. Polymarket provides clear, mutually exclusive outcomes with explicit edge-case handling. The platforms cannot be reconciled.Hero tip: Kalshi's market is broken and should not be traded. Use Polymarket as the single source of truth. If you hold Kalshi positions, seek clarification from Kalshi support immediately. For new positions, trade only on Polymarket.

Critical divergence points:

  • Kalshi: Both Fluxo W7M victory and Black Dragons e-Sports victory resolve to Yes. No guidance on cancellations, delays, forfeits, or ties. This creates a logical impossibility where the market cannot distinguish between outcomes.
  • Polymarket: Resolves to Black Dragons e-Sports if they win; resolves to Fluxo W7M if they win. Resolves 50-50 for cancellations, ties, delays beyond 7 days, or pre-match forfeits. Resolves to the winning team if match begins but one team forfeits mid-match. Source: Liquipedia within 2 hours, or credible consensus with video evidence.
Our PredictionHero Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA) are there to help users identify potential differences across platforms. If you notice a potential inconsistency, discrepancy, or error in an alert, please report it to our team so we can review and improve the accuracy of our data.

Polymarket

This market refers to the Rainbow Six Siege match between Black Dragons e-Sports and Fluxo W7M in the South America League Stage 1 Group Stage, initially scheduled for June 13 at 2:30PM ET. This market will resolve to "Black Dragons e-Sports" if Black Dragons e-Sports win the match against Fluxo W7M. This market will resolve to "Fluxo W7M" if Fluxo W7M win the match against Black Dragons e-Sports. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://liquipedia.net/rainbowsix/Main_Page. However, if https://liquipedia.net/rainbowsix/Main_Page has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Frequently asked questions

Prediction markets like Polymarket and Kalshi operate on peer-to-peer trading mechanics, where odds emerge from continuous buy-sell activity rather than fixed sportsbook lines. This market typically reflects sharper, more dynamic pricing because traders can adjust positions instantly as new information surfaces. Sportsbooks, by contrast, set odds to balance liability and lock in margins. For esports events like this one, prediction markets often capture nuanced team-form data and roster changes faster than traditional books, making them valuable for comparing consensus strength against conventional betting lines.

Polymarket and Kalshi can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. Kalshi and Polymarket serve distinct trader bases with different liquidity profiles, risk tolerances, and information-processing speeds. Kalshi's regulatory framework and user demographics may attract more conservative or institutional participants, while Polymarket draws a broader, often more aggressive crypto-native crowd. Order-book depth, fee structures, and UI design also influence how quickly each platform reprices in response to team news or roster updates. These structural differences mean one platform may lead price discovery, creating temporary arbitrage windows before the other catches up.

Key catalysts include roster announcements, player substitutions, recent tournament performance, and head-to-head map statistics. Injury reports or stand-in confirmations can shift odds sharply, as can leaked scrim results or team statements about preparation. Meta shifts in the current Rainbow Six patch may favor one squad's playstyle over the other. Media coverage, expert predictions, and social sentiment from esports communities also influence trader positioning. Watch for late-breaking lineup changes or technical issues that could affect either team's competitive readiness before the match begins.
