This market refers to the Rainbow Six Siege match between Barbie Boys and 6Targets Esports in the Asia Pacific League Oceania - Stage 1 Group Stage, initially scheduled for June 16 at 5:00AM ET. This market will resolve to "Barbie Boys" if Barbie Boys win the match against 6Targets Esports. This market will resolve to "6Targets Esports" if 6Targets Esports win the match against Barbie Boys. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://liquipedia.net/rainbowsix/Main_Page. However, if https://liquipedia.net/rainbowsix/Main_Page has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Prediction markets and traditional sportsbooks price events differently. Sportsbooks set odds based on their risk management and profit margins, while prediction markets derive prices from direct trader participation and collective belief. This market reflects what thousands of participants are willing to stake on the outcome, often capturing real-time sentiment shifts faster than sportsbooks adjust their lines. However, sportsbook odds may incorporate additional factors like injury reports or late-breaking news that traders haven't yet priced in, making direct comparison useful for identifying potential value.
On Polymarket, traders set prices by buying and selling outcome shares in an automated market maker system. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The cost of each share reflects the collective probability estimate—higher prices indicate stronger confidence in that outcome. As new information surfaces or match conditions change, traders continuously adjust their positions, causing prices to fluctuate. You can enter or exit positions at any time before the market closes, with your profit or loss determined by the difference between your entry and exit prices relative to the final outcome.
This market resolves around Jun 16, 2026, once the match concludes and the result is verifiable from credible public reporting. The outcome is determined by which team wins the best-of-one Rainbow Six Siege match in the Asia Pacific League Oceania Stage 1 Group Stage. Traders holding shares in the winning team receive their payout, while shares in the losing team expire worthless. Resolution typically occurs shortly after the match ends and the official result is confirmed.
Several factors may shift odds before the match concludes. Team roster changes, player substitutions, or injury announcements could alter perceived strength. Recent tournament performance, head-to-head records, and map pool advantages may influence trader positioning as the event draws closer. Streaming commentary, analyst predictions, or community sentiment on esports forums can also sway the market. Additionally, any technical issues or delays affecting the match schedule might trigger repricing as uncertainty changes. Real-time match momentum during the game itself typically drives the most dramatic price movements.
