The market resolves based on the final set score of the Rafael Jodar vs Felix Gill match at 2026 Wimbledon Men's Singles Round of 128. If the match does not occur due to injury, walkover, forfeiture, or cancellation before play begins, the market resolves to fair price. If postponed or delayed, the market remains open and closes after the rescheduled match concludes within two weeks. If a player retires, outcomes that can be unconditionally settled based on completed play resolve accordingly; outcomes that cannot be unconditionally settled resolve to fair market price at the Exchange's discretion.
Prediction market odds and sportsbook odds often diverge because they serve different purposes and audiences. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and manage risk, while prediction markets like this one aggregate trader beliefs through continuous price discovery. Sportsbooks may adjust lines based on sharp money and liability, whereas this market reflects real-time consensus among participants willing to stake capital on their forecasts. Neither is inherently more accurate, but comparing the two can reveal where professional bettors and prediction market traders disagree on the likely exact score.
On Kalshi, this market is priced through an order-book mechanism where traders submit bids and asks for shares corresponding to each possible exact score. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of each outcome reflects supply and demand; as more traders buy shares predicting a particular score, that outcome's price rises, and vice versa. This continuous auction process ensures prices adjust in real time as new information emerges. Your ability to trade at any moment depends on available liquidity and the current bid-ask spread for each exact-score option.
This market resolves around Jun 29, 2026, once the Jodar vs Gill event concludes and the final score is verified against credible public sources. The outcome is determined by the exact final score at the end of regulation or the event's official conclusion, depending on the sport and ruleset. Traders holding shares in the correct exact-score prediction receive their payout, while incorrect predictions expire worthless. Resolution typically occurs within hours of the event's completion, pending confirmation from official scorekeepers or governing bodies.
Several factors can shift odds in this market before Jun 29, 2026. Injury announcements, roster changes, or training updates affecting either competitor may alter expectations about scoring patterns. Recent form, head-to-head history, and analyst commentary can sway trader sentiment toward certain score ranges. Betting action from sharp money or large position changes by prominent traders often triggers repricing. Weather conditions, venue factors, or rule clarifications closer to the event date may also influence how traders forecast the final exact score, causing notable swings in implied probabilities.
