Unified Resolution Criteria (Consistent across platforms)
Polymarket and Kalshi both resolve based on the official outcome of the Racing Club vs. Botafogo FR match scheduled for April 15, 2026, within 90 minutes plus stoppage time, using official governing body statistics as the primary source.
Primary resolution logic:
Official statistics from CONMEBOL (Confederación Sudamericana de Fútbol) as the governing body for the CONMEBOL Sudamericana competition.
Core resolution logic:
Exactly one of three mutually exclusive outcomes will occur: Racing Club wins, Botafogo FR wins, or the match ends in a draw.
Each outcome is measured within the first 90 minutes of regular play plus stoppage time only, excluding extra time and penalties.
Resolution uses official CONMEBOL statistics; if unavailable within 2 hours of match conclusion, credible reporting consensus may be used.
If the match is postponed, markets remain open until completion.
If the match is canceled with no make-up game, the draw market resolves YES and both win markets resolve NO.
Edge cases & Clarifications:
Match Postponement: If the match is postponed, all markets remain open and unresolved until the rescheduled match is completed.
Match Cancellation Without Make-up: If the match is canceled entirely with no make-up game scheduled, the draw market resolves YES while both Racing Club win and Botafogo FR win markets resolve NO.
Delayed Official Statistics: If CONMEBOL does not publish final match statistics within 2 hours after match conclusion, resolution may use consensus from credible reporting sources.
Timing:
Resolution occurs upon official CONMEBOL publication of final match statistics, or within 2 hours after match conclusion via credible reporting consensus if official statistics are delayed.
