On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the outcome. The price of a share directly reflects the implied probability of that outcome occurring. As more people buy shares in a particular outcome, its price increases, and vice versa. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The market's price is determined solely by supply and demand among traders on Polymarket, creating a dynamic and real-time assessment of the event's likelihood. This differs from fixed-odds betting where the sportsbook sets the price.
This market resolves around Sep 12, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official result of the Pysmennyi vs. Masko match as reported by the governing sports body. Traders will be able to claim their winnings once the outcome is definitively established and the market is settled on Polymarket. The platform will verify the result against publicly available information to ensure accuracy and fairness for all participants.
Several factors could influence the price of this market. Any news regarding the players’ form, potential injuries, or changes in coaching strategy could significantly shift trader sentiment. Unexpected announcements about the match schedule or venue could also cause movement. Furthermore, broader trends in the sport or even general economic conditions might play a role, although to a lesser extent. Public opinion, as reflected in polls or expert analysis, could also impact trading activity and therefore the price of shares in this market.
