On Polymarket and Kalshi, pricing can diverge due to differences in user bases, available trading tools, and liquidity depth. Polymarket and Kalshi can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. For example, one platform might attract more international traders who favor certain outcomes, while another could see heavier betting from local fans. Additionally, each venue sets its own fee structure and minimum trade sizes, influencing how quickly prices adjust. Volume disparities — such as $603,873 across platforms — also play a role, as higher volume typically leads to tighter spreads and more responsive pricing.
