On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous order book where traders submit bids and asks for each possible outcome. The platform’s algorithm matches these orders, determining the current implied probability for each outcome based on recent trading activity. As new information emerges — such as fighter injuries, training updates, or betting trends — participants adjust their positions, causing the odds to shift dynamically. This user-driven mechanism allows for rapid price discovery tailored to the specific dynamics of this market.
This market resolves around Aug 25, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The result is determined by the official declaration of the fight’s winner, which is then cross-checked against widely accepted news sources and official sports records. Once the result is confirmed, the market settles automatically, paying out traders based on their positions at resolution. Timing is tightly anchored to the fight’s scheduled date, with any necessary adjustments made only for verifiable delays.
Several signals could shift this market before resolution, including pre-fight media appearances, training camp updates, betting trends on other platforms, and any last-minute changes to fighter conditions such as injuries or weight misses. Significant news coverage or analyst commentary may also sway trader sentiment, especially if it alters perceptions of each fighter’s readiness or chances. As the event draws nearer, any update that impacts the perceived likelihood of each outcome can cause rapid price adjustments among participants.
