On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism, where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the outcome. The price of a share directly corresponds to the probability of that outcome occurring, as perceived by the market participants. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders participate and new information emerges, the price fluctuates, reflecting the evolving consensus. The current implied probability of a particular outcome is determined by the share price relative to a potential payout of 1 USDC per share.
This market resolves around Oct 2, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official result of the Prylepa vs. Lyman match, as reported by the governing sports organization. The market will determine which competitor emerged as the winner, and shares will be settled accordingly. Traders should monitor official sources for the final results, as these will be used to determine the payout for this market.
Several factors could influence the price of shares in this market leading up to the resolution date. Any news regarding player injuries, changes in coaching strategies, or unexpected performance in prior matches could shift trader sentiment. Public opinion, as reflected in polls or expert analysis, might also play a role. Unexpected announcements related to the match schedule or venue could also cause fluctuations. Ultimately, any information that alters the perceived probability of either competitor winning has the potential to move this market.
